We exist to give youth a place that they can call their own and learn how they fit into the larger community. Legacy is a place where youth can find what legacy they want to leave and connects them with elders who can help them find it by leaving their own. All the volunteers and members of Legacy Youth Center want to give the youth in Lake Havasu a safe and stimulating place to call their own. This can only be done by coming together and helping give youth this space. This center will not only give youth a place to stimulate their passions, it should be a place where the rest of the community can contribute. The startup costs are planned according to the most cost effective measures so that we don’t ask too much but also so that youth can have a ‘cool’ place that they are proud to make their own. Below are the main things that we will be looking at for our startup costs and what your donations will go toward:
