In the Automotive Workshop, students will roll up their sleeves and dive into the fundamentals of vehicle maintenance—learning how to check vital fluids, inspect under the hood, and confidently change a tire. These essential life skills are more than just mechanical tasks—they’re a gateway to independence, self-reliance, and readiness for the road ahead. With expert guidance and time for questions, students will leave feeling empowered and equipped to handle the unexpected.

Then, in a powerful transition from the practical to the heroic, students will be introduced to the high-stakes world of Search and Rescue (SAR) and Water Safety. Our incredible hosts—veteran SAR professionals—will share firsthand stories, showcase their specialized rescue trailer packed with mission-critical equipment, and inspire students with what it truly means to serve with courage and compassion.
